Repair: National Attitudes and Behaviours survey 2022

Abstract

Behavioural insight is a foundation of the EPA’s Circular Economy Programme, providing evidence to inform policy, behavioural change interventions and awareness campaigns. The EPA contracted Ipsos B&A to carry out quantitative research which is the first nationally representative baseline survey on Irish citizen's attitudes, awareness and behaviours relating to repair. The research explores key aspects of repair in Ireland, including consumer rights, the repair economy, appetite to advance repair, professional repair services and motivations to repair. A second Repair: National Attitudes and Behaviours survey was conducted in 2024.
